Robert Altman died yesterday. He lived to be 81 years old. In his career he directed over 80 films made for theatrical release and television release. As a little tribute to the man and his work, you'll get a trailer for my favourite Altman film, MASH (1970).
A film about the Vietnam war set in the Korean war is one way to describe it. One of the best anti-war films (and comedies) ever made. It also spawned the best sitcom series ever made, M*A*S*H 4077th, which ran for eleven seasons (1972-83). Pretty impressive when you think about the fact that the Korean war only lasted for a little over three years.
Check out the trailer here, at 9,93Mb. Rest in peace Robert Altman.
Polish poster for MASH.
